Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEP)
The Diversity, Inclusion & Wellbeing Unit emails new staff with a physical disability (or current staff who have updated their iTrent disability information with a physical disability) monthly asking if they require a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEP) assessment to be carried out. These assessments are carried out by Estates (Fire Safety). If a PEEP is required and recommendations made Estates will assist in putting processes and equipment in place per requirements.
A staff member, line manager, school/unit manager can also contact the Diversity, Inclusion & Wellbeing Unit eqdiv@qub.ac.uk or Estates (Fire Safety) firesafety@qub.ac.uk  directly asking for a PEEP assessment or asking for a review of their PEEP information that is currently held. An Occupational Health referral is not required.
