The Faculty of Arts Humanities and Social Sciences are delighted to offer undergraduate students an opportunity to travel to Zanzibar and volunteer at Camp Matemwe. Students will spend three weeks in Zanzibar and will partake in cultural and volunteering activities. Students will learn about the local environmental issues concerning Zanzibar and the local wildlife as well as people.

Applicants must be a current second year student studying in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. If the programme is oversubscribed, we will use a secondary criteria for scoring applications based on students’ average module mark from their first year of study.
