The ICPG provides a unique opportunity for population scholars to engage with colleagues from around the world, share their research, explore innovative ideas and new developments, and contribute to the discipline. Previous ICPGs have been hosted at St Andrews, Liverpool, Hong Kong, Hanover (USA), Umeå, Groningen, Brisbane, Seattle, Loughborough, and online in Tokyo.

The 12th ICPG will include plenary talks, a series of parallel sessions, and poster presentations.  We are pleased to announce the following keynote speakers: Professor Richard Wright (Dartmouth College), Professor Darren Smith (Loughborough University), Professor Shenjing He (University of Hong Kong). 

The programme will also include an Early Career Census session sponsored by the Northern Ireland Longitudinal Study, and a session and reception to remember the late Professor Aileen Stockdale. Conference meals will be provided on-site, with a special conference dinner in an external venue. 

The conference will open on Sunday 30^th June with an optional welcome reception (provisional timing 5-7pm). The first session (welcome, first plenary) will begin on the morning of Monday 1^st July, at 9.15am. The conference will close at 1.30pm on Wednesday 3rd July. Delegates can register for optional day excursions taking place after the close of the conference.
