Queen’s Pride Picnic

All staff and students are invited to the third annual Queen’s Pride Picnic on Wednesday 24 July from 12.00pm to 3.00pm. Pride on campus will be celebrated with music, entertainment, food trucks, drinks, and an ice-cream cart for all staff and students to enjoy.

This event is free. Please note: the first 200 registrations will receive a free meal and ice-cream ticket, but there will be the opportunity to purchase from the food trucks and ice-cream cart on the day.

Belfast Pride Parade

Queen’s is proud to confirm that we will be marching in the centrepiece Belfast Pride Parade this year, on Pride Day, Saturday 27 July. All Queen’s staff and students and their friends and families are welcome to join in celebrating LGBTQIA+ people in Belfast and beyond.

Belfast Pride Festival is one of the biggest festivals in Belfast and this year the festival will run from Friday 19 to Sunday 28 July. The Belfast Pride Parade is the main event in the LGBTQIA+ calendar, a major city event and the biggest cross community parade in Belfast.

There will be light breakfast refreshments, coffee and an opportunity to meet, chat and get ready for the parade on the morning.
