Niamh Dunne is a singer and fiddle player from Co Limerick and Seán Óg Graham is a guitar and box player from Co. Antrim. They play traditional Irish songs and tunes combined with newly composed material and are widely celebrated performers, composers and collaborators. They have recorded 8 albums as founding members of the world renowned band ‘Beoga’ and have toured all over Europe, North America and Australasia. Wall Street Journal describes Beoga as ‘... the most exciting band to come out of Ireland this Century’. Beoga performed on Ed Sheeran’s latest album ‘Divide’ and Seán Óg’s own composition ‘Minute 5’ was instrumental in providing the musical backdrop to the global hit ‘Galway Girl’ which has been streamed over 800 million times on Spotify alone. This acoustic duo deliver a more stripped back approach to folk music, and their music explores themes of mythology, folklore, feminism, family and freedom .
