Rob Savage (Boston College): ‘The Death of an Informer, London, 1974’
Rob Savage is a professor of history at Boston College where he teaches Irish, British and Atlantic World History. He has been awarded Visiting Fellowships at Venice International University, Trinity College Dublin; Queen’s University, Belfast; the University of Galway and the University of Edinburgh where he held a Leverhulme Fellowship. He has written five books and numerous articles and chapters exploring contemporary Irish and British history. His most recent book Northern Ireland, the BBC and Censorship in Thatcher’s Britain was published by Oxford University Press in 2022.
