The Leverhulme Interdisciplinary Network on Algorithmic Solutions (LINAS) Seminar series is student-led and organised by the doctoral scholars on the programme.

Professor Katy Hayward (School of SSESW)
Katy Hayward MRIA FacSS is Professor of Political Sociology in the School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work at Queen’s University Belfast. In 2023/24 she held a Europe’s Futures Fellowship (IWM/ERSTE, Vienna) working on the subject of Artificial Intelligence and democracy with a specific focus on the impact of AI on university research and education.
