We are connected to the physical landscape of the places that we live in lots of different ways. Recently people have begun thinking more about the earth which we live and build on because of concerns about climate change, but poets have been writing about the human relationship with land for centuries. In this workshop we'll be thinking about how our identities are influenced and shaped by the land around and underneath us.

This will be a workshop that absolutely everyone can participate in, whether you're a total beginner or someone who can't stop writing! At the end of the session you will have at least one complete and unique piece of work about identity and land.

Participants will be invited to read their work at a showcase event the following week as part of the Imagine Festival of Ideas and Politics.
