The ICCJ is delighted to host Dr Louise Brangan who will be presenting a seminar on ‘The Stories We Tell: Or why can’t we remember the Magdalene Laundries?’.
Dr Louise Brangan is from the University of Strathclyde and will discuss how the Magdalene Laundries have been portrayed in the media, focusing in particular on their erroneous misrepresentation, challenging us to consider why they are persistently reimagined and what lessons remain unlearned.
This seminar will be held at 12.30pm 28 May in 0G.007 in 6 College Park.
