We are delighted to welcome our former Collections Manager back to the Centre to celebrate the launch of her latest novel Virtually Yours. As well as being an archive expert, Anna is a prolific author of commercial fiction. She will be in conversation with fellow Collections Manager Dr Patricia Malone to talk about the new book, and her prolific publishing career. 

Working with Anna on bringing Chloe’s story to readers has been such a joy, and this book is just as much filled with heart as it is with the real, gritty experiences of life. About the book:

Following her best friend's passing, Chloe has been finding solace in the world through her VR headset, including going on virtual dates with the charming Blaine amongst the glittering skyline of Manhattan.

Everything seems to be perfect, except for the obvious, that Blaine is just an avatar she doesn't know in the real world. As their chemistry grows, offering Chloe the escape she has been seeking, Blaine throws out the idea that Chloe should go to New York to find him. But going to New York will open more than just a search for the mysterious Blaine, as the city holds old wounds too with Chloe's ex boyfriend Jimmy now living there.
