Portrait created by Queen's medical graduate unveiled at The Centre for Medical Education

A portrait created by Queen's medical graduate and F1 doctor, Dr Caitriona Rafferty, has been unveiled at The Centre for Medical Education at Queen's University.

The artwork entitled "Hero'' was inspired by Caitriona's father, Dr Colm Rafferty, a GP in Ballyclare. The painting shows him washing his hands and was painted by Caitriona at the height of lockdown during the COVID pandemic.

Caitriona and her father are pictured with Professor Pascal McKeown, Head of School and Dean of Education from the School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences at Queen's University and Professor Neil Kennedy, Centre Director of The Centre for Medical Education from the School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences at Queen's.
