Dr Josue Ortega is a lecturer in economics at Queen’s University Belfast, where he teaches Economics of Networks and Institutions.
His research expertise is the evolution of networks and economic integration. His interdisciplinary research aims to understand i) social integration dynamics, and ii) how to fairly divide resources. He been published in leading international journals and has been featured by media in over 30 countries. His work has been funded and recognized by the European Union and Germany’s Leibniz association.
