Queen's has invested over £50m in the McClay Library, blending the best features of a traditional library with the latest technology.
Facilities include computing and media services, IT training rooms, quiet study and group work areas, a cafe, a Language Centre and a vast range of printed works.

Substantial investment in our facilities has developed our historic campus into an innovative learning environment for our students and staff.
A £700m overall investment is ongoing with new Student Centre, School of Biological Sciences, Computer Science and Accommodation buildings, recently completed.

The Seamus Heaney Centre for Poetry reinforces the University’s reputation as a world literary power, while the Brian Friel Centre for Theatre Research is a world-class studio theatre for performing arts students.

Film fans will be impressed by Queen’s very own, full-time cinema, the Queen’s Film Theatre (QFT).

Situated within Botanic Gardens, directly beside the main Queen's campus, the Ulster Museum is a serene architectural and cultural space.
The Museum is home to historical artefacts, relics, works of art, photographic exhibitions, wonders of nature and famously, an Egyptian mummy, Takabuti.

A hugely popular part of south Belfast, Botanic Gardens is great for a short stroll, a wander around the Victorian Palm House or a lie on the grass.
A hive of activity and a riot of colour in the summer months, the Gardens are immaculately maintained all year round and are home to numerous varieties of trees, bushes, shrubs and flowers.
