Celebrating 180 years of Queen’s – one step at a time

Our 180th is a landmark moment for Queen’s and we’ve a marathon-sized plan to celebrate.   

We’ve gathered 180 staff, students and alumni from across the Queen’s community to join one of the University relay teams in the Belfast Marathon on Sunday 3rd May 2026 and to support our students and research.  This is a great way to bring the Queen's community together and an ideal opportunity to fundraise for two key University causes - Student Mental Health Initiatives and Queen’s Medical Research.
