Economic Forum

The Economic Forum at Queen’s convened a global network of academic, industry, and policy leaders to explore the potential of AI as a driver for economic development through collaborative research and investment.

The event focused on the opportunities presented by the application of AI on four key themes where Queen’s has internationally renowned expertise and global impact: Cyber Security and Finance, Health and Biotechnology, The Green Transition, and Business and Technology.

The Forum highlighted the economic opportunity and elucidated the present-day policy challenges necessary to realise the vision across these themes.

The Strategic Policy Team at Queen's University will collate the discussions and ideas generated at the Forum in a report which will make recommendations to be progressed with local business leaders and policymakers.
