Queen's libraries
Queen's libraries are perfect for group projects, offering a variety of Group Study Rooms tailored to support and promote collaborative work. These rooms are designed for small student groups and come equipped with everything you need, including a computer and either a plasma screen or projection capabilities. Each room features a PC, projector and projector screen, making it easy to work together and share ideas.

Looking for the perfect spot for your group projects? The McClay Library has you covered with 33 group study rooms, including 30 for group study and 3 for individual study, plus two cosy study pods. Here’s the breakdown of where you can find them:
- Ground Floor: Rooms 1 to 13 and Study Pods A and B
- First Floor: Rooms 14 to 19
- Second Floor: Rooms 20 to 28
- Third Floor: Rooms 29 to 33
Each room is numbered sequentially in a clockwise direction on each floor, making it easy to find the perfect spot for your study session. Whether you're working on a group project or need a quiet place to focus, the McClay Library has the ideal space for you!

Study Spaces at the Medical and Biomedical Libraries
Are you a medical student? The check these out!
Medical Library: Need a spot for group study? The Medical Library offers three group study rooms. Room 1 and Room 2 can each accommodate up to six people, while Room 3, which features an interactive electronic whiteboard, can hold four.
Biomedical Library: The Biomedical Library has seven study rooms to suit your needs. Five of these rooms are designed for group study, each with a capacity of five, and there are two additional rooms available for individual study or parent/child study.

Study and Meeting Spaces at the Students’ Union
On the 1st floor, you'll find the cosy Blue and Yellow rooms, each designed for up to four people - perfect for quick meetings or small study sessions. Head up to the 2nd floor, next to the Lounge, and you'll discover two spacious meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 30 people. These large rooms are ideal for group studies or quick events, but they do require booking. To reserve a room, contact SU reception services or email studentsunion@qub.ac.uk.
Exploring Graduate School Facilities
Group Study and Teaching Rooms
Designed for productivity and teamwork, Group Study Rooms are perfect for brainstorming sessions and collaborative study projects. These rooms cater to groups of three or four people and can be easily booked through Queen's Online under Administration > Graduate Study Room Booking.

Meeting Rooms
For larger gatherings or formal meetings, dedicated meeting rooms are available for booking. For details on how to reserve these spaces, please consult the Graduate School.

Booking a study room is straightforward: you can reserve up to two days in advance, in line with the university wide policy. For bookings unrelated to study purposes, contact graduateschool@qub.ac.uk for personalised assistance.

At Queen's Accommodation in BT1, you'll find two quiet rooms and a medium sized meeting room available for use. These spaces are perfect for studying or holding meetings and can be accessed by any team member staying in BT1. No prior booking is needed - just check if the rooms are available and make the most of these convenient facilities.

Exploring Group Study Rooms at Queen's Business School
Within the Students Hub at Queen's Business School, you'll find approximately six group study rooms available for booking. These rooms cater to groups ranging from 4 to 20 people, making them ideal for collaborative study sessions and meetings. To reserve a room, simply visit the Students Hub building reception in person and make your booking hassle free.
There are also cute study pods in the garden at QBS - a really cool place to relax and study, which has charging cables for outdoor studying on a sunny day. These facilities are designed to enhance your learning experience and foster teamwork among students.
