CCE Reunion 2025

Riddell Hall
Chemistry and Chemical Engineering
180 years of Innovation

Queen’s University Belfast has long been a beacon of scientific innovation in Northern Ireland. Founded in 1845 as Queen’s College Belfast, the institution quickly became a centre for excellence in both teaching and research. Over the decades, the chemistry and chemical engineering departments have grown from modest beginnings into internationally recognised programs that continue to push the boundaries of scientific discovery and technological innovation.

From Thomas Andrews and the concept of the critical point, to AP De Silva and the discovery of molecular logic, the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering invites you to celebrate its rich history of scientific inquiry but also its ongoing impact in shaping the future at our Reunion 2025 event.

4th July 2025, Riddell Hall, Queen's University Belfast

An opportunity for former students and staff to reconnect, share memories, and look forward to new opportunities, while joining a legacy that has been built over nearly two centuries—a legacy defined by curiosity, innovation, and a steadfast commitment to making discovery real.

Details about the schedule for the day will be available closer to the event.
