TJU-QUB North-West Low Carbon Clean Energy workshop

14 academics from QUB attended the NW TJU-QUB workshop in Tianjin and discussed the clean energy and environmental and ecological challenges and strategic co-operations for sustainable development and green economy.

The TJU-QUB NW-LCCE Workshop, organized by Prof Xiaobin Fan of Tianjin University and Dr Meilan Huang of QUB, hosted the speakers from QUB and TJU, two Inner Mongolia institutions and also Eco-environment Low-carbon Development Center, Power Economic Technology Research Institute, PetroChina Kunlun Gas Co. Ltd from Inner Mongolia.

 

 

 

 

 

Dr Meilan Huang, the organizer of QUB said “I am delighted to see broad and fruitful discussion around the global challenges and policy on the climate change, ecology preservation and green economy and the forefront technologies for low carbon clean energy and sustainable development. We are grateful for the hospitality by the Tianjin University and look forward to in-depth international cooperations on sustainability research and joint education.”

Prof David Rooney, the Dean of the Internationalization and Reputation of Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences presented Queens profile and the faculty research.

 

 

Prof Gosia Swadzba-Kwasny, the Director of Research of CCE presented the School research.
