Dr Maria Healy (Swan Champion) has led on establishing an All-Ireland School of Nursing and Midwifery Swan Champions Network from University Schools of Nursing and Midwifery across Ireland. The aim is to provide a platform of support and share good Athena Swan practices/activities relating to Nursing and Midwifery.

The first online meeting was held on 30^th March 2023 with Swan champions members from UCD, UCC, UU, OU, UCG, TCD, ATU, UOL and QUB. Regular online meetings are held with a face-to-face meeting held on 11^th September 2023 in QUB. This meeting included an arranged online discussion with Athena Swan Advisors from UK and Ireland, a presentation from QGI – Professor Michelle McKinley and QUB Swan Champions Network – Dr Deirdre Gilpin.
