Projects
The Maternal and Child Health research group has widely recognised expertise in studying high risk groups in pregnancy, childbirth, infancy and childhood. Overall the programme aims to identify and reduce preventable burden and complexity in women and their families in the perinatal period and in children with long term health conditions or disabilities, recognising that health and well-being in the perinatal period and early years of childhood is important for adult health and well-being across generations.
