Hear from some of our current placement companies:

We have had the pleasure of working with the EEECS Careers & Placement Team since we opened our office in Belfast in 2014. The partnership we have built has been an integral part of growing our placement programme, which has in turn created a consistent pipeline of fresh talent coming into our organisation year over year. We convert a large number of Queen's placement students into graduate level roles every year, and that is evidence of the preparation and tools they have from the Careers & Placement team.

The EEECS Careers and Placement Team have been instrumental in helping AMD scale up our recruitment efforts over the past numbers of years. The team have educated us on the course curriculum, helped identify key modules we can target that develop the sought-after skillsets we’re looking for and finding new ways we can promote our brand among the EEECS students. We are a member of the Professional Advisory Board to help shape the curriculum going forward.

The EEECS Careers and Placement Team shares our attitude of having an ‘always on’ approach, rather than a spike in activity during the busy campus season.  Despite having busy and fast paced roles, they are always incredibly responsive and helpful.  For us, this brand exposure is invaluable through the high number of employer events made available.  As a business, we appreciate the regular check ins on placement students during their year in industry and advice provided to their people managers, a fantastic format!

Consistently the EEECS Careers & Placement team have gone above and beyond to support placement & graduates in their employment search. EEECS produces high calibre students who perform well in recruitment & excel in their roles.

The EEECS Careers and Placement Team is phenomenal to work with! They are consistently prepared and enthusiastic when it comes to partnering with organisations, always giving clear and concise information. The team approaches their events and coordination with a mindset focused on the student experience, which results in fantastic engagement/conversations for us as an organisation. We are continuously impressed with what EEECS Careers and Placement Team achieves annually for the University and its partners.
