YOUR FUTURE STARTS HERE

Studying in EEECS you’ll have an incredible student experience, inspiring purpose-built facilities, consistently top-ranking levels of student satisfaction, and a curriculum led by industry needs and designed to equip you for work.

Our courses are guided by an Industrial Advisory Board of experts. Regardless of the study path or modules you choose, you’ll develop the skills and principles for a rewarding career.

Our teaching and research is changing people’s lives and underpins tomorrow’s must-have technologies. From helping cure cancer to improved climate forecasting; assisted living to a secure digital future – electrical engineers, computer scientists, software developers and electronic engineers hold the key to our future.

The School offers a number of degrees, including core, professionally accredited, undergraduate programmes alongside research inspired postgraduate programmes. Taken together, the degrees span the broad disciplines of Computer Science and Electronic and Electrical Engineering, providing a solid grounding in both, as well as encompassing the interface and overlap between disciplines.

AN ELECTRIC DELOREAN!

We restored a Delorean, star of the Back to the Future films, but swapped the petrol engine out for an electric motor! This one of a kind car helps us teach electrical engineering and sustainable transport. It can go 88 miles per hour, but cannot fly… yet.
