Computing Subject Ambassadors Newsletter: Issue 03

Hello and welcome to this very festive issue of the Computing Subject Ambassadors Newsletter. We want to wish all our new schools and students a very warm welcome to this year's programme, as well as a welcome back to all our returning schools and ambassadors. We've compiled a curated list of interesting stories and resources you might be interested in over the Christmas break.

Interesting Links & Projects

This is where we will share interesting videos, links and projects we find each month. They might give you ideas for your coding clubs, or things to discuss!

  • Powered by machine learning, check out the Google Blob Opera and click the small tree on the bottom right to make it snow and enable Christmas songs!

  • The Origin of Christmas Crackers

  • Using Apple accessibility features to clone your voice!

  • Tom Scott shows us the library that has every. book ever published.

  • The ecological cost of single use vapes

*Please note, while every effort has been made to choose appropriate links, we are not responsible for content on external sites.

Help us shape future Ambassador events!

We want to run events that you want to attend! Let us know what kind of events and initiatives you would enjoy or find useful. We aim to invite all ambassadors (even those who might have finished up, so your help and advice will benefit you, and those ambassadors that hopefully follow you too!)
