Programme Overview

The Centre for Medical Education runs an annual Summer Research Programme. This programme provides a unique opportunity for undergraduate students to participate in medical education based research. This year’s programme will take place during the period June through to August 2025. There are a number of funded studentships offering a student stipend of £200 per week, up to a maximum of 8 weeks, on a full-time basis. At the end of the Programme, students will give a short presentation on their work at our Annual Summer Student Research Symposium.

The application process is now open, applications should be submitted to  vikki.oneill@qub.ac.uk, no later than 4pm on Friday 11^th April 2025.

Applications must be formatted as a single document, which includes:

1. A copy of the CME Application Form – download a copy here
2. An up-to-date CV (no more than 2 pages).
