Research in my group focuses on how posture and walking are controlled across the lifespan and in clinical populations, including adults with autism and people living with Parkinson’s. I lead the PD LIFE North-South project, which explores mobility, cognition, and quality of life in Parkinson’s. My work uses motion capture, cognitive and dual-task paradigms, and functional Near Infrared Spectroscopy. I also work closely with the Parkinson’s community in Northern Ireland, supporting engagement and initiatives that promote independence and wellbeing.
