FinTrU Trading Room
Since 2017, FinTrU has generously sponsored our Trading Room. The FinTrU Trading Room, which replicates New York and London trading environments, provides students with access to 26 Bloomberg terminals, trading simulations and other financial software.
The FinTrU Trading Room is embedded into taught programmes allowing students to relate real world news and market activity to economic and financial theory. The facility is also vital for supporting extra-curricular activities such as the CFA Research Challenge and Queen’s Student Managed Fund.

School Visits
If you are a teacher who is interested in bringing your class to visit the FinTrU Trading Room, where your students will be able to investigate the stock and bond markets, analyse major companies, play a stock market challenge game and learn about the management school and career opportunities, then contact Gareth Campbell (gareth.campbell@qub.ac.uk).
The FinTrU Graduate Programme enables you to join with fellow graduates, where you will first learn about how FinTrU operates as a business in the world of financial services alongside professional soft skills training. Over the course of the two-year programme, you will work with the world’s largest investment banks as you receive world class training from market-leading experts. As a financial service analyst, you will train and undertake the CISI Investment Operating Certificate (IOC) – a globally-recognised qualification that provides you with a professional overview of the financial services industry.
