PhD students, academics and research staff from any university are invited to register for our upcoming workshop on Moral Revolutions.

SSESW academic Lisa Smyth (Sociology) is working with Queen’s University colleagues Niamh Cullen and Clara Fischer on facilitating this interdisciplinary collaboration between Sociology, History, Politics and Philosophy.

The workshop will address key questions about the cause and extent of significant social change, focusing on changing understandings of what a good society might be. The conceptual and comparative dimensions of ‘moral revolutions’ are at the heart of this event, which will explore how specific populations, as well as whole societies, may undergo radical transformations in shared moral codes.

This event will take place in-person and online via Zoom.

Numbers for in-person attendance are very limited, so please book early at Moral Revolutions!
