All are invited to attend an open lecture by sociologist Professor Siniša Maleševic (University College Dublin), who will speak on themes from his most recent book Why Humans Fight: The Social Dynamics of Close-Range Violence. The book won the 2023 ‘outstanding book award’ from the American Sociological Association recently (Peace, War and Social Conflict section) and has been shortlisted for the 2023 Conflict Research Society book prize.
