17 February, 2023
deadline for Leverhulme Interdisciplinary Network Algorithmic Solutions is 10 March 2023

The Leverhulme Interdisciplinary Network on Algorithmic Solutions (LINAS) Doctoral Training Programme

While we are still considering applications from the first round, the LINAS Doctoral Training Programme is inviting a second round of applications.

The new deadline for applications is 10 March 2023.

Applicants should address their contribution to the programme aims in developing their application.

Applicants are strongly advised to contact the first listed supervisor on the project of their interest or select a supervisor from the list of team members if they are seeking to propose their own topic within the themes of the programme.

  • The LINAS Doctoral Training Programme offers PhD scholarships to researchers who are interested in the interdisciplinary study of AI’s social impact, or that of data mining and algorithmic decision-making more broadly.
  • The programme focuses on two broad themes: “Artificial Intelligence, Social Justice and Public Decision-Making” and “Science, Governability and Society.” These themes are reflected in a range of projects, as outlined on the LINAS website.
  • Current Doctoral Scholars’ profiles.
  • Full details can be found at LINAS Doctoral Training Programme.
