Reports
The CCA has its origins in the Centre for Archaeological Fieldwork (CAF), an archaeological field unit that operated in QUB between 2002 and 2019. During that time the CAF conducted hundreds of archaeological investigations with reports produced for each of these fieldwork projects. These reports are collated and curated in this section of the CCA webpage. All of the reports are available to download and read as PDF files.
DSRs are the reports written following the completion of an excavation. A typical DSR contains a complete archaeological analysis of the excavation in question which covers the background, excavation and overall analysis of the site. This is accompanied by a range of colour photographs and illustrations.
MRs are the reports written following the completion of site monitoring. MRs detail the artifact and feature finds (if any), exposed during the monitoring process and an analysis of the site in question, with recommendations for preservation which may need to be carried out. This is accompanied by a range of colour photographs and illustrations.
These reports contain the output and analysis of geophysical surveys. These typically include different geophysics results images, accompanied by details of the survey and interpretations of the results. In colour with photographs.
