STUDENT CHOICE

This award gives students the opportunity to recognise members of staff who have inspired and supported them during their time at Queen’s.

This award can be given to either academic or professional services staff and celebrates individuals whose hard work has made a meaningful difference to students. Nomination reasons may include excellent student partnership, outstanding support, fantastic research-based education, commitment to EDI, personal tutoring, high-quality feedback, teaching delivery, or exceptional research supervision. Please note: students can also enter staff nominations for other award categories.

Prize

£1,000 will be awarded to the winning individual.

Entry Criteria

  • This category is open to individual nominees only.
  • Only students can nominate in this category.

Nomination Advice

The Judging Panel will be looking for details of an inspirational and supportive contribution, from an individual who has made a meaningful difference to students.

Michaeline Donnelly, Student and Campus Experience

Student Support Officer, Michaeline is the driving force behind Queen’s 'Global Minds' campaign. Michaeline goes above and beyond in everything she does, particularly helping students' that engage with the disability and well-being services. Organising impactful events focused on mental health and well-being, Michaeline ensures Queen’s students feel valued, supported, and empowered to excel in both their academic and personal lives.
