Wellbeing at Queen's

WE ARE DEDICATED TO FOSTERING A CULTURE WHERE STAFF WELLBEING IS A PRIORITY, OFFERING THE SUPPORT AND RESOURCES NEEDED FOR BOTH PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL GROWTH.

Welcome to Staff Wellbeing at Queen’s – your go-to source for support and information on health and wellbeing at the University.

Taking care of health and wellbeing is essential for feeling good and performing well, both at work and in our personal lives. It's important for staff to recognise when they need support and know where to access helpful resources, advice, and information.

Staff Wellbeing Strategy

Our Staff Wellbeing strategy focuses on four key areas:

  • Healthy Mind: The University is committed to creating an open, positive, and supportive work environment where all employees feel empowered to bring their authentic selves to work.
  • Physical Health: The University offers opportunities and encourages staff to maintain active, healthy lifestyles.
  • Home Life: Recognising the challenges of balancing work and home commitments, the University supports staff in achieving a healthy work-life balance.
  • Community and Connection: The University strives to create a culture where staff feel connected to both the University and one another. These themes are supported by a range of training, events, and activities designed to enhance staff wellbeing.
