Teaching staff celebrated at 2025 Queen's University Belfast Teaching Awards
On Friday 19 December, Queen's annual Teaching Awards ceremony was held in the Great Hall, celebrating the outstanding learning, teaching and support practices underpinning the learning experience of students at Queen’s.
Open to academic staff, professional support services colleagues and graduate teaching assistants (GTAs), a total of 45 awards were presented, recognising excellence and innovation across the University.
Congratulating the awardees at the event, Chair of Senate, Dr Len O’Hagan CBE, said:
“Teaching excellence sits at the very heart of Queen’s mission. It is fundamental to the delivery of Strategy 2030 and to our ambition to be a globally recognised university rooted in our place and committed to social purpose.”
